Peace and security architecture activities

Key activities include:

1. Strengthening the capacity of the SADC Organ in terms of conflict prevention, management and resolution;
2. Strengthening the engagement of member states with the SADC Secretariat and the SADC Organ;
3. Improving the engagement of civil society organisations (CSOs) with the SADC Secretariat, in support of the implementation of regional peace and security objectives;
4. Facilitating coordination and harmonisation between RECs and the AU.
